Uncharted Delayed to 2022.

The uncharted movie delayed by Sony because of the pandemic. The movie starring Tom Holland has been delayed to February 11, 2022. It has never been easy for the movie franchise, from changes in the story to directors to writers and even delays. But lately, there has been positive news for the movie franchise.

Staring Holland as a younger Nathan Drake and is based on the hugely popular action-adventure games developed by Naughty Dog. Holland was heard commenting it is everything he “would have dreamed it to be”. Even though the movie was in its post-production phase there was a total possible time frame of release. But Covid’s situation in many parts of the world is causing innumerable delays.

While some movies like Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway and Ghostbusters: Afterlife have been pushed down by few months. Kay Cannon’s Cinderella is now premiering July 16 rather than February 5 as originally planned

Sony said the Uncharted movie is “just the beginning of the expansion of our storytelling into new media and even wider audiences”. This suggests that there is more to come from the gaming world into the motion picture category.
